Bracer

Like many on this forum, I purchased the Windrestrictor It is a great product but I just wasn't thrilled with the look of the installation. I was hoping for something that would look for factory if MB would have done it. So with some modification to the Windrestrictor, and modification to the boot area cover between the roll bars this is what I came up with.

It is hard to tell from the pictures, but the Windrestrictor goes right through the boot area cover between the roll bars and is securely bolted to the metal cabin reinforacment panel below. The boot area cover was opened up the exact width of the Windrestrictor and the vinyl cover wrapped around the cut edges so that trim was not required.
