I purchased a 2001 slk 230 at the end of 2012. In the Spring of 2013 I took it to a highly recommended garage for a full service before proceeding to do a bit of restoration work. It went into the garage with a super fancy dress kit that completely hid the engine and two days ago when going for an oil change I find it came back without it. They are telling me that they don't have it nor did that year of car come with a cover or covers that hid the entire engine. I believe that it could of been aftermarket or custom made but cannot find anyone else who may have been able to cover the whole engine. I did find photo's similar to what I am describing and am attaching as an example. I am getting no where's fast as I can only find these dress type covers on new Mercedes models. Of course I never took a photo. Any photo's of yours or leads where I can find such a thing.
