Question Help with codes I'm getting after SC replacement

1999 Mercedes SLK-230 (R170) (156k miles)

Recently had the SC bearing go out on my SLK230. Was able to get a refurbished one from the blower store and replaced everything last weekend without a problem.

Before the SC swap, my car had a check engine light on along with the ASR/BSR on the dash as well (these lights came on when the SC first failed).

Just after I replaced the SC I cleared all codes on the car and then took it on a test drive. During the drive the CE light and ASR/BSR light came back on. Car also had no power (new SC sounds great by the way no bad bearing sounds).

Ran the codes today and I'm getting 6 total, they are - P1420, P0446, P0443, P1525, P1235, and P1236 (codes I was getting before SC replacement were P0440, P1525, P1235, P0443, P0446, P0141, P0135, and P1420)

Any thoughts on what could be going on?


P1420 - Catalyst Temperature Sensor Failure
P0446 - Evap Emission Control System Vent Malfunction
P0443 - Evap Emission Control System Purge Control Circuit Malf.
P1525 - Air Bypass Valve System
P1235 - Fuel Pump Control Out Of Range
P1236 -

any thoughts?

Be advised that before I swapped the SC I had inspected the K40 and the previous owner had re soldered the unit. The solder joints looked in good shape. Only reason I mentioned it was due to the fact that a few other threads where people are asking about these codes and the K40 comes up. I also have removed and cleaned the MAF, cleared the codes but they all came back. I am going to check the ABV today. Been doing a lot of research on the issue and someone at SLK world tried telling me the ECU and or butterfly valve has failed (ECU failure being my greatest fear, but also want to make sure I'm getting solid advise).
