Battery issues

Ok here's my situation. I drive my car couple times a week and always starts but I've gone through 3 new batteries in the last 2 months with bad cells. The first 2 walmart batteries which I just chalked up to being cheap so bought an interstate battery and now after few weeks it has bad cell too. Tried putting the top down the other night and just the windows and trunk did its thing but that was it so I read and possible cause battery not likely but tested the new interstate and bad cell. Is the car causing the bad cell or is it just dumb luck. Thanks in advance!!!

Not sure about your situation, you mentioned you only drive it a couple of days a week. I have a 2015 ML350 with over 70,000 miles and still have the original battery. It's doesn't get driven much , so I have one of those trickle chargers sold my Mercedes and leave it hook up. Nomally it show about 25% charge when I hook it up but it quickly goes to 50% but takes a while to get to 100% charge. My wife complains about me having the hood up in the garage, but to me , I don't leave it connected all the time, but just a couple of overnights a week. I just trying to see how long the original battery will last for grins.

Hope you get the issue solved. Alt least it isn't 15 degrees and snowing like her in Illinois, land of high taxes
