04 SLK32 Supercharger cooling

Has anyone separated the SC cooling from the engine's. I did it on my SL55 and it made a big difference.

Wondering if there's a kit or part #'s for a reservoir or the size of the hoses.

Thanks

It is fairly straight-forward using a BMW Power-steering reservoir. (easily found on Ebay for less than $25 search for "BMW E46 power steering reservoir")
You will need to cap the 3/4" port on the factory reservoir and remove the bleed-line from the "T" and cap (or remove "T" and replace with short piece of tubing as I did).
Using a home-made bracket, the BMW reservoir mounts easily enough to the radiator shroud (their are 2 bosses on the shroud that can be tapped, mount the reservoir as high as you can WITHOUT it hitting hood) add a 1/4 - 5/16 nipple to the BMW reservoir on the side (and inch or so from the top) and cap the smaller port on the bottom.
Run the 3/4" hose (that previously went to the factory reservoir) to the port on the bottom of the BMW reservoir.
