Pre-owned SLK32?
Hello,
I will soon be purchasing a car and iam highly interested in the 2005 C230K Sedan. But then i decided that performance is more important logic so iam considering a nissan 350z which would be less than the MB and i would have some money left for some mods.
But then i realized that the SLK32 AMG is a killer car with killer perforamance and that is what would make me happy and none of my friends would be able to touch me.
I saw on ebay that used SLK32's with approx. 20-30k miles can cost around $35-$40k. Do you think that those are good prices? Also, my roomate who is a BMW lover told me that if the car was not broken in properly then it could have a lot of mechanical problems because it is a forced induction. I dont know if what he told me is the truth or just a biased answer..
Do you guys think that it is not advisable to buy a used SLK32 ???
p.s - i am in Boston and if any of u guys wanna show me ur SLK32's i would love to see them. perhaps a joyride.

SLK32
The SLK32 is a good choice. Don't worry about the engine. They are run at the AMG factory.
Before you get one I would recommend you run a carfax and take the VIN to a dealer to get the repair history (want to make sure you don't get a lemon).
The SLK32 will destroy the 350Z in a straight line.

AMG SLK32 - UK Price
You can buy a 2003 SLK32 with just 14,000 miles right now over here for £9000. With the exchange rate now sub 1.5 USD to GBP, that's less than $14k.
I bought a used one 12 months ago, and aside from fuse 23 blowing a few times [now runnign a 7A instead of factory fitted 55A], these cars are very very solid mechanically.
Go for it - you will not be disappointed.
