SLK32 Inspection
Looking to get a 2002 SLK32. Used to have a 2002 SLK230? The one with the 4 cylinder engine. After that had a 2015 SLK350. Both nice cars.
This will be more of a project that I will take out on weekends.
The roof cylinders are leaking. That's fine, I can get a rebuilt set and fix that. Interior paint is coming off. Again, not an issue as I can repaint it.
Car has been in FL. GA and AL its whole life, so rust is not an issue. About 75k miles. Rust is the one thing I would walk away from.
Anything else big that I should look at that might be a 'lets walk away' issue?
Is the powertrain good on these cars? I don't really want to have to take the engine and transmission out, but most other things I could probably handle.
Biggest things for me has always been rust, frame, bodywork or paint. I don't do that.
