Fantastic! Did you get her thru the House of Imports? Are you going to the Rose Bowl get together Saturday? It would be great to have 2 of them side by side!

I got it at Keyes European in Van Nuys. I just went in to get some information on the 350, not intending to buy. There were about a dozen in the back lot, and one Orion Blue SLK55. Fell in love with it and bought it after a test drive. Unvortunately I won't be able to make the get together this weekend. Maybe the next one. I haven't seen one other SLK55 on the road since I got mine.

Very Very Nice colour. And you're real lucky to "bought it off the lot"
Pls take some pictures of your interior... is it black and light grey? too bad the blue interior isn't available on the AMG...

Yes, from the posts on this forum I've since found out that I was lucky to buy it off the lot. I wasn't aware that they were scarce. I assume someone had backed out of their deal to buy it and I just happened to get there at the right time. Must be fate. I'll take some pictures of the interior and post them ASAP. The interior is black and ash, I think they call it.
