got my new '55
this is my fist post and i am very excited to announce that i just picked up my new black slk55!! wow what a machine......i can hardly wait to open it up once the break-in period ends. i have been reading all the posts here and have been quietly waiting in the wings to get into my ride and man is this worth it!!

Congrats, blkslk55! Which black exterior did you get? Which interior color? How about posting some pics?

....i got to drive it a little last night (as the roads and the weather were clear), what a rush!! i don't understand what the fuss is about the paddle shifting, with the torque this engine has, the delay is almost non-existent (or maybe it's me, i'm biased?)
