2006 Porsche Cayman S
SLK 55 or Boxster S
I currently have an SLK 32 which I love, but I will be trading it in next year.
The cars on my radar are: SLK 55, Porsche Boxster S, and Corvette ZO6 and Audi S4.
The Corvette is the last on my list in this order SLK 55, Boxster S, Audi and then Corvette
What are your thoughts?

SLK 55 AMG
SLK 55 has the vario roof, which all the other cars are missing.
The Boxster is a great handler, but wont bind you to your seat like the 55 will.
The Audi is... well, an Audi, and I find that it's just not made for a younger more spirited minded person like me.
The Vette (if we're talking the brand new one coming out right about now) will be most impressive when going 0-60 (or more), but you won't have the same convertible goodness and looks as the SLK.
I'd take the SLK over these cars.

slk, boxster next choice
ive had a boxster its a great car, i just think this slk is better in every way imho, is a carrera in your price range? then it would be really close

'06 SLK55 AMG
I have a C5 Corvette now and the C6 is even better but... I looked at the Corvette, SLK 55 AMG, BMW M3, and Porsche Boxster. My priority was:
1) SLK 55 AMG - Great car, as fast as Corvette, very limited production, hard top convertible, great handling, great sound from the engine, interior quality seems very good.
2) Corvette - Still great car but they build so many (not very rare), soft top only, quality not up to par (just go over to www.CorvetteForum.com and read all about the engines burning oil, transmissions leaking, etc...)
3) Boxster - Best handling car but not enough torque, so it's slow off the line. Too many around (they hardly change the body style), too small inside for me to fit.
4) BMW M3 Vert - Not enough power or torque, too common looking, last year of that body style.
So I just signed the contract for a 2006 White SLK 55 AMG, with Black/red interior. Car scheduled to be built on June 20th.
