I need help ....
As you probably already know ..... we here at The Tire Rack pride ourselves on vehicle wheel and tire fitment knowledge but, in order to achieve that knowledge we measure ever vehicle for proper fitment and produce a 3D cad/cam drawing of each individual application. So, here's where I need help ..... through my normal channels I have not been able to get my hands on an SLK55 to take the proper measurements. What I need is somebody to drive their car to South Bend so, I can size it up ....... it will be worth your while is you would undertake the trip !
let me know if you can help !!!

I'm going to need a wider footprint to help get the power down efficiently. It should be a pretty quick SLK. Some car mag review said thier 590 Hp SLK was still trying to go sideways at 120 mph . Until I get more rubber on the road, I'm not adding the extra 40 Hp via headers/exhaust (this is my wife's car & I'd like to limit traction loss even though our cars have traction control...it gets overridden a bit by this Kleemann package).
See ya,
