Pick up day!!!
I'll pick up my new SLK 55. Will post preliminary pics by tomorrow for sure!
Probably the first Performance Package one in the country!!

PS: All Iknow is that there is not that much interior carbon fiber and the spoiler and rear vie mirrors are NOT carbon fiber!!

Not working Sunday night....I should be back home after the Browns game!!
And yes his GTO smoked my C32.......every single time!!
Hopefully the SLK will be a better challenger!!!

Very envious! I just got word this morning that my car is now being built and will be delivered early November. Once you know your car is being built, the wait seems to be harder!

Thanks for posting the photos of your wonderful new baby! I have one on the way myself, probably arriving in early October. I'm pretty sure your car is the first one with the 030 package on the ground in the USA. I think there are only 6-8 or so on order as of late August for US delivery. Only one of them is going to dealer stock. (Barrington, IL) All the rest are special orders.
One initial question if you have the time to answer, questionable now that you have your car, but I only count 6 pieces of CF in your pictures, assuming there are three pieces on each door. Aren't there 7 separate CF items? Is one of them the shift lever? How about a few more photos. How about a few close-ups of the different pieces?
BTW, those wheels are awesome! So are the rollbars. Did you have them installed at your dealer?
Now, to mention the driveability. With the racing suspension, is the body low enough to risk damage during routine driving on ordinary pavements? Does it have a PowerChip ECU upgrade? Do you have any regrets now that you have the car??? You are one lucky dog!!
