SLK55 on the way... (S2000 for now)
hands free on slk55

sorry for the faq, but is it possible to have the hands free installed at VPC or even Dealer add-on? I see a lot of talk about the retro-fit blue tooth and have read that it will only work if you have the hands-free installed. My US spec car on order has the 320 ent (command w/navi), and it is too late to add the hands free at the factory. appreciate the help.

I broke down and called the dealer... I am told I can have the hands-free installed from the dealer, so good news I guess

Now for the bad news, call him back and ask the price, installed and add another $100-200 for the blue-tooth part when it comes.

It shouldn't be too much a stretch for them. When I found out that bluetooth was coming as an MHI attachment, I added handsree to my order at B3 -- when you can't make changes from the factory. That's when I learned that the VPC typically installs these kits. It doesn't seem a stretch, then, that the dealership can't do the same... they'll just be taking the car interior half apart like the VPC would have anyway.
