Have you ever worked with Platinum Motorsport in LA, on Melrose (323-935-9222)? They supposedly did major measurements of my car to install some 19"s. Maybe they still have them, or may have an idea for you having been thru it?

You might want to check Kleemann USA in Colorodo (don't know the # off hand) They've done extensive work on a 55. They gave my shop some good info on the fenders.

WheelExperts should have them. Give Pete a ring.

we need a car here .... we produce a 3D CAD/CAM drawing of the wheel area and clearance needs to verify all wheel fitments ....

I'm not an engineer, so explain. Do you use a special camera or machine?? Why can't you travel or find a shop with what you need to relay the data, like a shop where you have better access to an SLK??? Are you sayin no one in OC or LA or the Bay area has the ability to take the measurements needed in a way that can interface with what you've got back wherever you are?

we use a robotic arm to produce, arguably the most exact fitment guide/drawing in the industry .....

I should be getting my SLK 55 with the 030 AMG performance package next week. I'll be getting Ventureshield film put on it before I take it out on the road; don't want any of those nasty paint nicks! The following week or two I might be able to make the run over to let you measure it for wheels if you haven't found anyone else by then. I'll keep an eye on my schedule and this site and keep you posted.

I am a one-time TireRack buyer (for my 4-Runner a couple of years ago) and would definitely repeat with my next set of tires!
