Brushed Aluminium or Graphite Grey???

Just put my order for some 19" DCR hockenheims, was wondering what color finished I should get for my Iridium silver SLK. Brushed Alum. is silver but shinier, Graphite grey is like gunmetal. What do you guys think?

Brushed Alum

Graphite Grey

Tough choice. Too bad you can't see them both on your car. I would probably vote for the silver but I do like the other too.

Brush Aluminum !!

but it depends on the color of you car.
you have iridium so.....either one would do....
but since you have chrome parts,
you should have shinier rims.

Can't find any out there to compare either, EDSLK has brushed but I would love to see grey on an SLK.

EDSLK's brushed but the pic is not cleared, looks photoshopped.

480hpSLK55's gunmetal but graphite grey is lighter.

Life is full of tough choices..

I have 15% tint already, don't think I want to go any darker, on dark cloudy days and at night it's pitch black.

I'm torn, I have plenty of time to decide. I asked Yuya from DCR for a couple of pics and he'd asked his photographer to take pics of every finished they have. That's what I called service. Now, will see how their wheels turn out.

Chrome parts, where??? I can't find any.. I'm not a fan of chrome especially on a sports car. Brushed Alum is not bling bling like chrome or high polish, just a little more shine than your traditional silver which is almost always flat. (in color)

I'd stick to the aluminum because although less trendy it will stand the test of time. Nice look!

I thought about that too, brushed is a safe color and will look good 20 years from now, grey might be a fad that last for another five years but I don't plan to keep the wheels for that long.. They are 3 piece wheels so, if I don't like it, it doesn't cost much to replace just the center piece. I like both colors equally...

I would advise on the Brushed Aluminum - it looks very classy.
Quick question - can you transfer your Mercedes Benz center caps to these wheels?
Or do you have to leave the one they come with in place?

Brushed = classy, conservative

Graphite = agressive, sporty, different from the norm.

I'm not sure if it'll fit, I don't think so b/c you don't see it much on forged brands, hre's, iforged, dpe's, etc. I prefer the caps of whomever made the wheels.

Talking King Solomon's verdict

Have them do the left side in Graphite and the right side in brushed aluminum. It would be fun seeing how many people ever catch on.

Lol, if you want shock value then I'll go graphite on rear, brushed in front...

I'm leaning more towards graphite now, decisions, decisions....
