Help With Ecu For A 2005 Slk R171!
I'm trying to figure out where the ECU for my 2005 SLK350 is located, please help, I looked in the fust box and it's not there. Please if anyone can give me a detailed description or photos, please let me know. 
Sorry to intrude on the SLK55 forum but I'm sure my ECU is located in the same area.

I know the ECU is different, I just need to know the location. I have checked the MB forum, it seems that they changed the location of the ECU for the SLK R171, all other MB vehicles have it located in a obvious and easy to access loaction. Thank you.

ECU stands for (Engine Control Unit), I found out how to take the ECU out so please disregard this question. I will try to upload pictures next week on the SLK350 forum, sorry to intrude on the SLK55 forum 
. Its actually located under the air intake manifold, a very simple task, easier then I imagined, I was doing things the hard way, while Mercedes made it extremely easy. The ECU was staring me in the face the entire time. Its that middle silver rectangular shaped thing right in the middle of the Mercedes cover (in reality that cover is the air intake manifold).
