Build date Nov. 10- Delivery ?/Your experience

Build date Nov. 10- Delivery ?/Your experience
Dealer called yesterday to say my build date has been assigned, Nov. 10th and that I could expect the car to arrive at the dealership approx. 30 days later or around Dec. 10th.
I live in Northern Virginia, a suburd of Washington, DC
He said if the car arrives in port (Baltimore, MD ) near the end of Nov. I can expect faster delivery as MB wants to get it off their books and onto the dealers books before the end of the month; if it arrives after Dec. 1st. it could easily be a week or more before it gets to the dealership.
My question is, what was your experience in terms of the total elapsed time between the start of the build cycle and your pick-up date?
30 days sounds fast to me, don't want to get my hopes up and find 6 weeks or more is more realistic.
