How many SLK55 are delivered to the US each year? Also any way to tell how many they have made with 030?

Just curious ... I swear it seems that there are AMG vehicles all over the place now.

 

I got no idea....but i seems that a lot of 030 owners are in this forum. When I got my car (1st in the US) there was already a list of 6 awaiting the car....that was back in September (to get delivery in less than a month). I haven't count how many people have the 030 but it seems like around 5 are here....how many in the nation or per year.....don't know!

They make a couple thousand AMG's every year for each class of car.

For example, the old model SLK was made in quantities of 2000 cars each year for something like 3 years, half of which were delivered to the US.

The actual figures are out there somewhere... but don't expect it to be all that different for the other models and so on. They can only build so many of those cars.

 

I recall reading somewhere that approximately 1,500 SLK55's were exported to the U.S. last year.
This would make sense considering Shini's post above.

 

When I got my SLK 55 with the 030 package in early October, my dealer told me that my car was the 277th SLK 55 ordered or shipped to the US for MY2006. It was also only the 6th or 8th ordered or shipped with the 030 package. I think this info was from NetStar.
