Can anyone suggest if I should remove the resonator?

I have been doing some research on deleting the resonator. I realized that people said that they are no-brainer mods. I would assume that it would make your exhaust note louder and more throaty. However, my concern is with the hp and torque gain. Some say hp and torque gain for S/C engine but hp gain and low end torque fall for NA engine???? I'm a little confused. Anyway, right now I have Kleemann sport catalyst installed for 2 months now, they do make the exhaust note slightly louder and deeper esp at higher rev from 4000rpm up. I have never seen any SLK55 with resonator deleted so was just wondering..........

Also, if Dinko happens to read this post or anyone with ECU upgrade experience, can you please enlighten me why you chose Kleemann ECU( I'm a kleemann fan too but trying to know why u decided to go with kleemann) upgrade instead of powerchip when powerchip does increase more hp and tq gain?
