Any idea on the following:

Is there good ECU upgrade, cold air intake air filter for a SLK 55 2006?
I am looking for a reliable way to add 20-25 horses on top.
Thanks,

Do it after your warranty expires.

do it now

it wont affect the warranty (intake and exhaust) and the chip they will never know about and even if they do, they have to prove that the chip caused the problem.

dms automotive claims 382hp w/ chip alone

SLK 55 AMG
Kleemann also claims between 20 and 30 hp with a chip. The headers (a major modification) may even add up to 40hp (probably closer to 30), and costs about $3000. The chip is about half as much, but be careful as MB can reflash the ECU if they update it, and this will remove the modded chip and you lose all the money you put into it.

dont know about intake

i wouldnt bother anyways, get the 55k intake boxes, they should fit.
or do what i did, take ur stock airbox apart and grind down all those "ribs" inside it, then sand it to make it as smooth as possible and put some performance filters in (K&N or greenfilters)

Check out RENNtech. They do everything you want. I did the ECU, Intake and Headers. Do a search, you'll see.
