Hey guys need your help- have video that I would like to upkoad to you; but file is too big( 10 min DVD)- who makes software to compress and edit DVD so that I can email?

If it's already an AVI, MPEG, or other video file, there are even more programs for re-compressing to make a smaller file. Go to download.com and search for "avi recompress" for a sampling.
But a 10-minute video won't compress down to an emailable size (without looking like garbage, at least). You will be able to shrink it down enough for sharing if you have a web site that will host it. If you don't, check out Google's video upload program (https://upload.video.google.com/). They have their own video format, so you can probably just use their tools for compression.
