wheel dimensions
hey guys
looked at some rims and was wondering if these dimensions would fit on our cars:
-19x8(F) 235/35/19 +35
-19x9.5(R) 275/30/19 +35 or 37 I forgot.

The wheel widths seem okay. I'm sorry I can not tell you if the offsets will work perfectly. If the front or rear for that matter is off just slightly, you will rub if you lower the car. The front tire size is okay as well but I'm pretty sure the 275/30 wont work. I haven't seen someone try it yet. You read alot about people needing round sidewalls so that the tire doesn't rub, that's with 265's. I'd imagine 275 would be worse since it's .4" wider than the 265.

Personally, I think 265 works just fine. Unless, you willing to take risk of rubbing the rear with 275.
I'm not too sure about the front offset size because I'm having 8.5 so the offset is not the same.
But for the rear. I'm doing 9.5 with 35 offset. It some how works. BTW, what wheels are u planning to get?

i want stylish rims, preferrable gun metal or black finish ... zenetti's seem to look nice... especially for that price. i have no idea what else to go for. HRE's are too expensive ... my taste is too expensive! HAHA

if i was gonna put any zentti (never would) on a slk55 i would put the stela.

from what i saw in regard to price on the net ($2200-2300, im assuming u want 19's) for the five, u can get sportier/nicer wheels.
my gf has a slk350 (black), thinking of putting on axis matrix, they r a little more (my cousin owns a shop so they rnt for me
, but if ud like he'll hook u up, he was sponsored by axis a while back, he carries zenetti's also). and these wheels come with fat *** lips on the rear

Axis also makes the Penta specifically for the SLK. It has a nice lip, 2.5" front and 3.5" rear. 3.5" IMO is perfect, not overly done. Last time I check they were $2500 with tires (toyo's or nitto's), more for michellins and pirelli's of course.
