hard ride? check you tire pressure
Hey guys if you read my other thread, on rims, you will know that I am at 36lbs pressure on my new PS2s. I've found that the ride comfort is considerably better than on my stock 18s even though I"m now on 19s.
Fiddle with your tire pressure if your ride is too hard.
I believe people have brought this up before ... but (WOW) a big difference!

Yah,
I'm doing 19" on my HRE 841R too with 36 psi. I have noticed that the ride is much more comfortable but wasn't too sure if its due to lighter weight rims or due to 36psi? Because if not wrong I have been doing 38 and 36 on 18 stock too.

good point
Yeah I have no idea if its due to lighter rims or if its tire pressure. My assumption was tire pressure. Maybe someone else can enlighten us.

That would depend on the weight of the car, the type of tire, how you want it setup (understeer/oversteer) etc.
Often for each tire theres an optimal range and and optimal temp. After running it hard. check the temps with a digital pyrometer and see if you are too hot or too cold. Then make fine adjustments on pressure until you get into the proper range.
Propably not the answer you wanted to hear, but tire pressures are not so simple.
