I have been looking around at wheels since before I picked up my SLK55. I have searched the threads and gone to many sites looking for options. There are a lot of members who have changed tires and wheels but finding out exactly how they work out is difficult. I thought that it would be nice to have a thread that everybody could post exactly what they have done, with pictures and the results that they have seen. The information that I am looking for would be:

Wheel model
Wheel size
Any spacers or adapters needed
Tire model
Tire size
Suspension lowered?
If so with what?

Results:
Any rubbing? If so, where?
Change in ride from stock (i.e. stiffer, softer, harsh....) and type of roads used on to make this comparison
Tire performance

And of course the all important picture of the final product!

Hopefully this will give people a good knowledge base of experience to help them make these choices. I know that this is a very subjective area and am looking for as much objective information as possible.
