SLK wheels?

I have a HRE wheels on my SL500
it is 19" and i think it was 19x10 or 10.5 at the back
The tires is 295/30/19 and fits perfectly on the wheel

I was wondering if that gonna fit SLK55 at the back..or is it too wide?
Cause i have seen ppl using a very wide at the back of SLK...just want your experts opinion ASAP

Thanks GUys u r the best

I am sure that 295 tire will NOT fit SLK55. It's too wide

Hope that helps

It definitely won't fit. I have heard people doing 275 in the rear with some rubbing. I have HRE with 9.5 rear and 265.

I believe 265 is the max width to go.

2006 Brabus B55 (Brabus Modified SLK55)
I recently had new wheels put on my car by BRABUS - Mono S with the following fitment:

Front: 19 x 8.5 ET 50 225/35-19
Rear: 19 x 9.5 ET 50 255/30-19

Check this link for pics.

https://mbworld.org/forums/slk55-r171/141141-brabus-b55.html.

This was absolutely the largest wheel and tire they would do. I originally had chosen 19 x 10 in the rear and they called me later that day and said they couldn't do it.

Give Matt at BRABUS NA a call. He can tell you for sure.

Take care.

Beleriad,

8.5 and 9.5 with ET50? Do you need spacers to run this wheels on SLK?? I think ET 50 would set the wheel pretty deep in on SLK.

Do you also happens to have a shot of how 255 wrap around 9.5? Just nice?

I thought the Brabus wheels were ET35? I heard they used ET35 rear and front but the fronts had a 5mm spacer too bring the offset down to ET30?

The above specs are what BRABUS put on my invoice and in a display they created when showing the car. Unfortuantely, I am not well versed enough in car mechanics to verify it.

It looks great though.

Has anyone of your realatives or friends noticed something new with the your 55 without telling them of the Brabus upgrades!

I like it when you become amazed Suddenly like in the second day when they realise the upgrades

Many of my co-workers noticed the new wheels and badging. Only enthusiasts really know what BRABUS is so many of them were curious. They aren't sure if it is an MB or not. I always love giving the full explanation - not so sure they love it though.
