Temperature reading

Over the last day or so the outside temperature reading has been in the 124-126 range!!!!!

The engine temperature is fine. I'm just trying to figure out why the outside temp is showing so hot. (I am in South Florida but its not that hot.)

Anyone have any ideas or had this problem?

Take a look at the outside temperature thermister. It is located in the screen insert in the front bumper, over on the right hand side. If it has slipped out of its proper location it could be in contact with the radiator for the oil cooler giving a falsly high outside temp reading. It is easily relocated.
