2005 Diamond Black C230K, 2007 Iridium Silver SLK55 AMG

Driving N101 up to SF today, I spotted an Iridium Silver SLK55. Very hot.
Pulled back behind the car, and noticed it was debadged. Ok. But in place of the normal badging was the /// part of the AMG badge stuck together with 3 small s's (I think they are probably from the s's in the 'kompressor' fender badges on 5.5K cars). All together, it looked like this:

Plus, it was placed under the crease line, instead of over the crease line where the ///AMG badge usually is.
Anyone here want to fess up to this one, and explain the meaning? Other speculation as to meaning welcome too.
