Steering Wheel Paddle Shifters
Hey Folks
I drive an '05 built SLK55, what I want to know is can you have the new full-paddle gear shifters retrospectively fitted to replace the awkward buttons/switches behind the steering wheel, which were fitted on the early cars?
Regards
Mark

According to AMG's procedure, they mention "installation" costs for their paddles, so yes, you should be able to install them as an option at a later time.

I just checked with the local dealership and they didn't have a part number for the paddles, I did check the size of both the CLK63 and E55 paddle/buttons and they are the exact same size and shape. If you can get the paddles it should be easy to do.

you can buy them from you mb dealer, you just have to order the paddle shfters from the SLK55 Black series. you can find the price and part number on the amg performance studio
