If the car is in the USA call up or go to the Brabus website - I am not aware of their current pricing, but they will do it for you.

If you're in Europe your option is AMG Manufaktur, and it will run you about 2,000 euros to replace the stock trim....

According to the 2007 SLK brochure, the Vavona wood is NOT available as an option for the SLK 55.

I suppose if you really wanted it, you could order the parts and have your dealer install the Vavona wood.

Performanceproducts.com sells both carbon fiber and wood trim for the SLK55, including the steering wheel. An expensive way of doing it is, designo but at $8, that's way overpriced.

There are aftermarket suppliers who can provide you with replacement wood trim. Whether or not you are going to find one with the Vavona - or a similar-enough lookalike - is an open question.

Is it me or does this seem really ridiculous that a brand like Mercedes cannot offer a wood trim on its highest SLK model when it offers the trim for the SLK350? Designo is ridiculous - paying 8000 for just wood.

Alas, the wood trim, with the wood handbrake lever and wood gearshifter would look so awesome. Sadly, Mercedes doesn't offer this...

Also is it possible to get the slk350's amg package tires rather than the SLK55 stock tires. I've seen a lot of members with the amg package tires in the Gallery. I'm in US. I wonder if its available here as well.

Designo is rediculous but it's the only way to get whatever you want. Maybe MB thinks the SLK55 is a sports car and don't think wood is necessary. I think you should skipped the wood and go carbon fiber at performance products. I have wood trim on my SLK350 but if I didn't I would go with CF. Unfortunately the wheel and tire pkg that you want isn't offer for US models, only for the European and Asian market.
