Installing Comand
Can a Comand unit be installed onto an 06 SLK55? I can get myhand on a R171 unit (w/out Nav) but not sure if it can work. In theory, it should by swapping out the stock head unit right? Any wiring or programing issues with this? Any inputs are welcome. Thanks.

I was informed that it is impossible to swap the base radio for Command.

Command is a factory ONLY installed option.
There is no way that Command can be installed after the car is built

If this is not accurate, please let us know.
