slk55 stalling problems

slk55 stalling problems
I got a 05 slk55 that has been stalling this year. The dealership had the car countless times and say they don't know why its stalling. They changed the main computer and it is still stalling. Does anyone have this problem? or anyone know what could be the problem. Please help someone I am very upset with this car at this point so any advise would help.

Sorry to see that your first post on the board 1) deals with a car that stalls 2)that an authorized Mercedes Benz dealer has not been able to correct the problem and 3) there is no idea why this is occurring.
Considering the above, I don't think anyone here could help you here as I have never heard of this problem before with the SLK55 nor have I experieneced anything remotely like it with mine.
My advice would be to contact Merceces Benz directly. If you are are in North America, that would be at : 1-800-FORMERCEDES

Can anyone help me on what to do. I have a 05 slk55 that has been giving me problems. Last year the car keeps stalling and again this year. It stalled on the highway and again resaulting in an accident. The dealership has the car now going on 6 weeks and they still don't know whats wrong with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on the problem or what can I do?

Try to get everyone involved... from the service tech, service advisor, service manager, gm and even MBUSA. Document everything and tell them you've been more than patient and would like MB to buy it back. The dealership can assist and make the recommendation to MBUSA. Keep in mind, if MBUSA buys the car back, it doesn't affect the dealership at all. Therefore, keep them on your side. Of course, if they're jerks, then it's all up to you and you may want to seek counsel from an attorney. Good luck and sorry to hear you still have problems.

Sorry to hear about that stalling prob ive never had it on any of my amgs ,but my brother had a similer problem on hes c320 ,it would stall even on the highway the motor would cut out randomly .
I think they replace some wire harnes and all has been cool since that.
