simple suggestion for display upgrade
I love my SLK 55
BUT
I sorely miss having gauges that tell me what the engine is doing ...you can bring up a temperature gauge & both an oil pressure gauge/voltmeter with a fiddle faddle ...why not upgrade the computer display to allow for these to be seen all together?
would be simple work to make such an option available ...these could be digital versions of analog gauges & ideally should be displayed altogether
I don't know how difficult this would be to do, but I would love to see it done
somehow the SLK 55 seems less a sports car without this complement of gauges
while I concede that they are probably much less important given all the computerized management, I still like seeing what is happening
I'd certainly pay to have the upgrade if the price was not outrageous

and get some of the information your looking for. Get an OBDII scanner and plug it in.
I'm using a scangaugeII which works pretty well. I have it attached to a suction device so it is on the left side of my front windshield so I can look at the data all the time.
