Want to trade to SLK55.
My wife has been begging me to trade my G35 coupe to the new SLK55. I don't mind the style but I have always viewed the SLK model as Girly. Since this is my first time here on this board can someone tell me if the SLK are really marketed toward women and what are the percentage of women owning this car on this board/

Just traded my 2003 G35 Coupe for the SLK55 a week ago ! Absolutely awesome car ! I did initially wrestled with that "Girly Car" reputation, but i gotta tell you, the "55" is no "Girly Car", its all "Muscle" !

The old model SLK was perceived by many as girly.
Does that bother you? I don't see why one should feel their manhood is threatened by driving a so called "girly" car. Should an SUV be called a girly car because 99% of all the people that drive 'em are soccer moms? Over here, almost every single Subaru STI I see, is driven by a chick as well...
I suggest you test drive the SLK. You'll figure out pretty quick what kinda car it is.

Girly Car NOT!
Most people though that the Mustang & Camaro were Secretaries cars when they were first introduce , back in the 60S. How WRONG they were!! . They are still great muscle cars today. buy that SLK , The new body style , Follows the SLR lines. Go for it. Especially if it is a
