Can you retrofit paddles to the change gears?
HI chaps,
Just had the SLK serviced under warranty for some seat clip thing that I never knew needed fixing and the loaner I got was a C180K saloon with what must have been a 'sports-pack' of some kind - it had little gear-changing paddles behind the steering wheel where we have buttons.
I've seen some paddles like this (but seemingly made of a silver metal and larger like a BMW SMG's) on some of the pics on this site on SLK55's and presume they are 030's - which we don't get in Australia. They are also on the Black Series which we also don't get here.
Is there any way I can retrofit paddles to my car? They worked SO well on the C180 I almost wanted to buy the car - and we're talking a car with a putrid 120-odd kW here! OMG!!!
Thanks in advance guys!
Cheers,
JD

The paddle shifters are std on the 2007 SLK55AMG's...................(both models.......the performance pkg is mainly carbob fiber trim pieces, brakes, wheels/tires and suspension).
