Looking to buy an SLK55, maybe supercharged....
Hello guys, I just sold my car and need a new one ASAP. Currently looking at E55, SL55, SLK55 w/ kompressor, and 997S. if you are selling your supercharged SLK55 or know someone who is, please let me know via PM or riksut@yahoo.com I'm also open to stock SLK55, preferably black and an 05.
P.S. This car really nothing to do with my topic, but I though I'd post this. Before I was thinking of buying an SL55, but now leaning more towards the SLK55. After test driving the SL55 yesterday and have mixed feelings. The torque was awesome, the car pulls like crazy off the line and I got to like 120mph in a 35mph zone (sales guy almost pissed his pants). However, the car handles like a boat and I think my Lexus has more steering feel... especially at lower speeds. Same thing with the brakes, although the stopping power is great. I have not driven the SLK55 yet, but I suspect that it will behave more sports-car like than SL55.
