Oil change
service A was previously done. A worker(former MB staff) at where I bought the car from said all I need at 20,000 miles is to change the oil and that jiffy lube can do it just fine and save me hundreds and it will not void the warranty. Said next service isn't needed until around 30,000 miles. Does that jive with what you all know? Am I taking a risk not using the MB dealer? I always changed my Porsches oil at the dealer and it was almost $300..I just got my car.
Thanks.
To me, one benefit of getting service work done at the dealership is for the stamp in the service book. I'm guessing when I eventually sell it, the potential buyer will feel more comfortable knowing I had the work done consistently by an authorized service center.
