Advice..

Hello all.
I begining to a little research about the 55
I will ordering the face lifted slk55 with the p030 amg pkg.
I am looking to get increase performance.
I narrowed it to Kleeman or Brabus.
Not sure if I want to o the Supercharge from kleeman..But the headers ECu Psark plu from iether company seems good to me.
Any advice..

is looks for a good mod shop near you. SInce you don't have your location listed none of us can help you there.

If the power of SLK55 not enough for you, why just get a SL? I believe that will be money well spent comparing to modife a SLK.
As far as I know, modified a MB is not a smart idea.

I don't agree with getting a SL, SL does look nice and very elegant but it's a boat and not very fun to drive on the track, SLK55 is great on both road and track.

I agree, modding a MB is expensive.

Hi ..now I drive an slk350 with all the options.
I really dislike the Sl they are all over.
I live in Studio City.
I was hoping to get a SLK63 but have to wait another 5-5 years. I love the body style of theSLK.

I Am ok with the power of it... Just Alittle more would be perfect arround 400HP

okay

no idea where studio city is ...

To get to around 400 hp (crank) :

Air Filters (BMC, Green, K&N)
Air box
Shorty Headers or Long Tube (you can get even more HP with Long Tube)
ECU Tune (Renntech, Kleemann, Powerchip, to name a few)

that should get you to 400 at the crank.

Unhappy My thoughts

I shall probably be ridden out of town on a rail for saying this, but I am quite concerned about the every day comfort of the SLK55 with the 030 performance package. As is, this SLK55 rides hard; add to it the more taught suspension of the 030 package, I am concerned that, under typical road conditions, riding in the car will be nearly painful due to the lack of give in the suspension.

you need to try it

030 and its my daily driver. I don't have a problem with the stiffness of the suspension.
