stock vs ?

i have a slk55 amg stock 2008 i just want to know what cars i can compare it with because i dont want to go out to the streets and get smoked and i am thinking to have only an ecu kleemann upgrade and with the ecu upgrade can i match the new m3

That's a good question... I've never raced a new M3, but intake, ecu and headers may increase your chances. Just take the E55 out instead and it won't be a problem.

You can probably keep up with the new M3 with a Kleeman tune. Still, i pulled about 4 cars from a 30 roll when i was stock on a SLK55. IDK what your gains would be with a tune.
