Is it true? You can still buy the twin-screw kits for only $8995.

Incorrect information. The KLEEMANN screw type kompressors have been dead for many years now.

I do, however, have ONE new/old-stock screw-type kompressor that doesn't have a home if anyone is interested- just PM me. It's the last new screw-type system left in the world as far as I know.

Why did they stop making them? Was there something wrong with the application or design?

We had no problems with the auto-rotor systems- the manufacturer simply went out of business.
