AMG newbie question
hey i just bought a 2012 SLK55 AMG and im really enjoying my first AMG car. my question is to get the best accelaration time out of the car should i leave the traction control on or off, and in what mode should my transmission be in sport or manual? thanks in advance

I thought the traction control just uses the brake on accelaration to minimize wheel spin but I might be wrong though. I would say sport, but nothing beats manual with traction control off haha!

This car is a blast to drive.
I have been messing around with it a lot to get the best 0-60 time and I've found my best times come from traction control off, transmission in Sport mode, hold the brake and bring the RPM's to about 1,500 and ease into the throttle upon releasing the brake. Before my Renntech tune I had her consistently at 4.5 sec.
By the way, where are you located and what color is your car? There are not many of us out there.
