I am currently looking to buy a SLK55 09 model.

To my understanding the 09 model Brakes are not equipped with the bigger 6pot front and 4 pot rears. I am pretty dissapointed with finding this out. I Heard you can only get them by a AMG upgrade package when the car was bought Brand new*.

There are not many for sale here (Sydney) And The few 09's i have managed to find for sale have the ''smaller brakes''.

Im buying the car for road use and not for track but it would be put through its paces and braking is important to me.

Question 1: are the smaller brakes even any good?

Question 2: how much would it cost for me to upgrade the brakes to the 6pots and 4pots?

Question 3: Is it worth buying the larger ones? Basically will i be dissapointed with the braking of it as is
