question regarding rear diffuser

hi everyone, i have 2007 slk55 and thinking to change the diffuser.

i found one made of carbon fiber that looks great from CKS performance.

however it is little too hi for my budget and it is coming from UK which will take pretty long...

so i was wondering if the 2013 slk55 diffuser will fit on my slk or not.

i guess it will not but who knows...

anyone have any idea??

Thank you for the leads mate. Didn't know Sears dealt with aftermarket parts.
I like the second link a lot, but a bit worried with fitment as it does look like a diffuser you glue on top of the OEM diffuser.

If you ask me I would go with Piecha's rear diffuser. Painted in graphite grey, looks like it's running 615 Euro...which according to my calculations is $800. Will have to pay for additional shipping to the states though. I'm thinking about getting the exhaust and this next year when I know I can afford it. Getting automatic Lambo Doors installed right now. Anyways here's the link for the rear diffuser.

I agree with you 100%. I was thinking of doing the lambo doors as well, but thought people would see me as a show off. What type of doors are you getting? SLR flip up or just the lift up ones? Pics? Links? Weight?

I got that diffuser on mine Slk55. The shipping cost me around $500 plus another $80 for stupid duty taxes !!! You have to cut your bumper.

Nice pictures of your exhaust and rear diffuser Klinh. So you're looking at roughly $1,400 plus install for Piecha's rear diffuser. I say it's worth it, especially if you buy their exhaust too. Check out these 2 links sounds amazing:

R172

As for my automatic Lambo Doors, I ordered them from a company called Autoloc. They are based out in Oregon I believe. I found out about them on YouTube. I got a 16 port switch that controls the doors via a remote. Doors can go partially up or all the way up, the remote will even control the roof. My SLK is in the shop right now getting installed, hopefully I will have it back by the end of next week. Will post pictures and videos when I get a chance.

IMO, don't do lambo or any types of scissor doors on SLK.. It just doesn't look right.. like AT all.. As far as the diffuser go, there are few aftermarket brand you can choose from. Don't get cheap ebay stuff.. There were few replicas but there wasn't that much of difference in price..

Good luck
