2009 Buying Advice - What to look for

2009 Buying Advice - What to look for
Hello all. I am new to this forum and to Mercedes cars and hope get get some advice on what to look for when buying an SLK55.
In a couple days I will be sending my 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata to a new home and I will start looking for it's replacement. I have been looking at 2010/2011 IS350 and G37 Convertiables but they seem a little bland for $30k+ used cars.
So today a friend at work turned me on to this 2009 is Storm Red with 13000 miles which looks to have the P30 option package. Current asking price is around $35k which is right in the middle of my budget.
I did a visual inspection and it looked very clean. The vehicle report also came back clean. But not having experience with these I was hoping some of you could let me know some of the less obvious things to looks for and to comment on the value of the P30 option package. It's got the upgraded suspension and some bling but from what I've read no real power upgrade.
I will continue to scour this forum and look forward to any advice you can give.

I don't know if this matters but when I took the test drive it felt a little sluggish when going 0-60 foot to the floor straight line. Maybe it was my lack of experience with the car. After I left I thought that doing it with manual shift might have helped.
