We picked up our 07 a few days ago and the car is wonderful. Just an unbelievable machine. We are tackling a few items on the car and the hardest appears to be the headlights. The prior owner must have put some kind of protector film on the headlights because about 60% of the lenses are covered with a brittle residue. The car is a one owner and it has spent its life so far in Houston, TX and my guess much of it outside in the sunshine. I thought the 800 and 1500 grit sandpaper with the Mothers headlight kit would remove it but after 45 min with the sanding discs on a drill that's not going to happen. The headlight assemblies are fine. It's just the lenses that need to be replaced. There are a number of clamps around the edge and I was wondering if anyone sells replacement lenses. All I can find are complete new assemblies.

Unfortunately I have only seen the complete units for sale if you are looking for new parts. There are some interesting aftermarket options if you are thinking of going that route. Have you already tried sourcing some used lenses?
