Typical "crap & drivel", well, crap and drivel. Especially the comment about MB learning to build sport car engines. Can you believe it. Anyone knowing their motorsport history will not make a statement like that. When MB came out with the 300SLR, it won almost every race it competed in, in its first season. If it wasn't for that fateful crash, who knows how long MB would have dominated racing. MB's whole company history is built on racing!

C&D is heavily biased against MB, so I guess if they're forced to write anything good about MB, they need to get in their shots where ever they can...

Is there no 4 cylinder model for this year only or its entire production run?

Not for the U.S. The supercharged 4cyl SLK200 model is only available in other markets like Europe, etc.

I agree with you but that is just the way it is. I buy a lot of British car magazines, American car magazines and German car magazines (I lived there for fife years). It is amazing how bias they all are! For example, the new Vette (C6) was highly praised by Motortrend, Car and Driver, Road and Track, Automobile and of course the Chevy (?) magazine. They all had page after page of nothing but good thing to say. But guess what Autobild had to say about the new Vette; nothing but garbage on only two pages with ugly pictures! I have noticed this trend following the car business for the past 15 years! But I am still amazed of the new tricks they use to manipulate us all! I wonder who is behind them. We should ask my friend "Spooky Mulder"!
