Battery Polarity

While installing a temporary battery in my 06 SLK55 I inadvertently had the cables reversed and when I touched the post I got a spark and immediately removed. Yes, a rookie mistake and I do feel like an idiot as I have worked on vehicles most of my life. Anyways, what I have noticed is the radio Nav etc will not come on now and the left rear signal light does not flash. When I push the power for the display just the MB symbol comes up and then nothing. I also removed the bulb for the rear signal and it appears to be good. Can anybody provide any insight as to what I may have screwed up in my radio/nav display? Thanks
