Is Parktronic an Option?
Hi guys, I see that option being available on pictures, but on the option list of US/CDN options it doesn't seem to be there. Check out the pics, there are parktronic sensor on the rear bumper of this SLK55.

Unfortunately Parktronic won't help you when a banged up rust bucket parks next to you and scrapes your bumper (fender for you US boys and girls).

I have ordered this option (Parktronic) because if you don't specify it you're left with a blank/vacant dummy switch on the centre console (under the COMAND/Audio display)!

not an option in the US
I would agree though - I just like to fill that button and have it - even though it's not really essential. I find it odd that a high-end car like the AMG 55 wouldn't have the option of parktronic in the US (it does in Europe!). Why would that be ? I am also looking for Power seats with memory etc, the folding outside mirrors - but neither are available on the US version (the power seats only show up as an option on the 350 ?!?!).
