Exclamation Waiting Lists... Be Warned!!!
My dealer called me yesterday (UK) to advise me that 255 SLK55 AMG orders had so far been received nationwide. However, he also advised that after contacting MB UK that there would be just 130 SLK55's delivered to the UK over the next 12 months!!! Therefore some customers would probably be waiting for up to 2 years to get their cars!

I thought there were NO SLK55s due in the UK until next year? I was told the first UK cars will start being built in Jan 2005?

That 130 is numbers for the UK, not the US! Just remember that well over 60% of MB production of AMG's go to the states!! We will get the lion's share of these fantastic vehicles.
