Hi all

Newbie here and i need some help

I have a 2004 SLK200 R171 - i have just found that the central locking and the electric mirror does not work on the passenger side (UK car). I have read a few posts about this and keeps coming up with door control module but before i do any more i wanted to ask for some advice.

As i said the central locking and electric mirrors do not work but the electric window does. Does this mean the door control module is faulty? I would have thought that if it was faulty the electric window would stop working as well?

Can anyone suggest anything i can try to fix it, i have looked at the fuses they are all ok and i have checked the wiring from the body to the door no breaks that i can see.,

If it is worst case a door control module are these just plug and play units if i get a second hand one as long as the codes on the box match? Or do they need to be coded to the car? If so is it something i can do on my Delphi software?

Sorry for so many questions in one any advice is very welcome.
