New to me is a 2005 SLK55. It is in great condition except for one item. The key fob remote that opens the windows and/or the convertible top does not work. The previous owner believes a receiving unit located in the driver's side door is broken. First, is this the likely cause? If it is, where is this part located? What is this part actually called? Where can i find one at a reasonable price? How difficult is it to install? Any insights or help on this issue is greatly appreciated.
